Paranormal Pursuit

Paranormal Pursuit is a thrilling new 2d overview perspective horror game that dares players to explore haunted buildings and investigate paranormal activities. Set in different environments such as haunted houses, abandoned hospitals and cabins in dark creepy forests. The player assumes    the role of a paranormal investigator equipped with an arsenal of special tools specifically for detecting supernatural beings. 

The genre or category of the game Paranormal Pursuit is primarily Survival Horror, with elements of investigative gameplay.

Paranormal Pursuit is a single player game that drops the player in the shoes of a paranormal investigator with a simple task of discovering the type of ghost haunting the specific location. With an emphasis on investigation type gameplay, the game offers a new look on the horror genre.

Undergo the immersive ghost hunting experience exploring different environments of haunted locations, such as an old creaky house at the end of a neighborhood or a sinister abandoned hospital with specialized ghost hunting equipment such as a UV light and a ghost detector.

With ghost AI, encounter a range of different ghost types, each with their own unique behavior and ability which is the player's task of pinpointing what type of ghost it is based on their behavior and ability.

The concept of this game is heavily inspired by the first-person survival horror game, Phasmophobia. While the art and atmosphere is influenced by the puzzle-platform game, Little Nightmares.

The target audience of, Paranormal Pursuit is primarily gamers with a love for supernatural culture     who enjoy immersive and atmospheric horror experiences, these people may have played horror games such as Dead by Daylight, Phasmophobia  or have watch the American drama series Supernatural.   Paranormal Enthusiasts who are interested in paranormal phenomena, ghost hunting and supernatural mysteries.   Content creators and Streamers, for those that make a living making video game content. Casual gamers looking for a quick simple game to get a trill. 

The concept art for Paranormal Pursuit captures an eerie and haunting atmosphere of different haunted locations, Each location showcases environments containing creepy atmospheric lighting, chilling rooms and paranormal elements. The art immerses the player into environments to evoke fear and a sense of mystery.

You are a paranormal investigator tasked with the dangerous job of setting foot in a recently haunted house, the owners have paid you big bucks to investigate and come to a conclusion on what type of ghost we are dealing with. Equipped with an arsenal of ghost hunting devices, you must use them correctly to discover three types of unique behaviors that the ghost is exhibiting and use your, Ghost-type-cyclopedia book to come to a conclusion. Once a conclusion has been drawn you can exit the location and be rewarded by tokens/money if you were correct in your decision. However sometimes it’s not so easy, during your investigation you can be hunted by the ghost in which you must find a safe place to hide, if not you may become another victim of the haunted location.
